Live Like Jeff Andrews In Los Angeles, $2.35M
Author:Philip Ferrato
Jeff Andrews is widely respected for creating extraordinary interiors. They’re complex and eclectic, and exuberant with subtle references to the past, and his own domicile is no exception. Now, the 2-bed, 3-bath home is on the market for $2,350,000. The discreetly simple c.1934 exterior doesn’t give much away. Inside is another story.
“My design philosophy is to live life beautifully and to the fullest, and to always surround yourself with things that make you happy,” says Andrews.
Included on the Elle Decor‘s A-List of top interior designers in the world in 2019 and 2020 and The Hollywood Reporter’s Design Hall of Fame, and won California Home + Design’s Design Icon in 2019, he’s long been a favorite here at CH+D. His partner Ken Miller is an Emmy Award-winning casting director whose credits include The Big Bang Theory and The Kominsky Method.
The designer’s LA home has been featured in House Beautiful magazine, as well as in Andrews’ recent book, The New Glamour: Interiors with Star Quality (Rizzoli, 2019). The home was also featured on the Bravo series Best Room Wins on which the designer appeared as a guest judge alongside his client Kaley Cuoco. One of LA’s most successful and multi-faceted designers, he’s created homes for Ryan Seacrest, Kris Jenner and NBA star Tyson Chandler, as well as wallpaper and furniture collections. The den is a wonderfully cozy space, taking knotty pine to a new level.
The kitchen keeps up with the traditional, handsomely crafted vibe made anew, and leads to a sweet dining area with Fornasetti wllpaper.
The primary bedroom suite is predictably sybaritic.
