Located steps from the Seattle’s newly rebuilt Waterfront District and from Pike Place Market, Hotel 1000, which became part of Hilton’s LXR Hotels & Resorts group in 2021, has undergone a subtle refresh, bringing it firmly in line with the company’s expanding collection of hand-picked luxury properties. A new color scheme, highlighting polished dark woods and deep, rich hues, telegraphs warmth and welcome. Against this stormy backdrop, its light installation, composed of over 250 hand-blown LED glass droplets designed to represent the city’s infamous rain, becomes a dramatic, arresting focal point.

Its craft cocktail bar, Rosebay, has been updated. Its stormy color palette reflects the Pacific Northwest. Its curved ochre-upholstered booths, vibrant art and rich wood accents are a cozy setting in which to sip local beers and small-batch cocktails and dive into shareable plates, including a cheeseboard highlighting the state’s best cheeses and selection of conservas.
