Create, Collaborate, and Stay at h Club Los Angeles

Co-working spaces have cropped up all around the world, but it’s safe to say h Club offers something truly unique. The London-based private members’ club founded by global philanthropist and co-founder of Microsoft, Paul Allen, and musician Dave Stewart, considers itself “a home for the creative industries,” and at the brand’s new Los Angeles location, members can make themselves at home in one of the club’s 35 luxurious bedrooms.

Designed by Russell Sage Studios, the bedrooms at h Club Los Angeles were inspired by the Modern Grand Tour of Europe. Each room features individually curated artwork from the Club Art Program, as well as custom antiques from around the world.

The club enlisted 35 artists to curate the boutique bedrooms, and featured contributors include Aaron Axelrod, Ethan Caflisch, and Brian Thomas Jones. In an effort to support the artistic community, all artwork featured in the Club is available for member purchase.

Carefully curated by Ali Hillman, the Club Art Program promotes both established and emerging local artists by featuring rotating original works throughout the club. Since the club opened its doors, Hillman has presented works from leading artists such as Anja Niemi, Gina Osterloh, Lisa Anne Auerbach, Aaron Sandnes, Kim Dingle, and Megan Whitmarsh, and a Los Angeles debut and presentation with Ivan Moscovich. Hillman also spearheaded a collaboration with neighboring Capitol Record’s global creative director, Nicole Frantz, in presenting the LSD Project, a collection of more than 70 previously unpublished photographs taken from Capital Record’s archives.

The club’s rooms range from the cozy Club Studios to the lavish Two-Bedroom Suites, and all of the accommodations are outfitted with an array of amenities. In addition to open, airy floor plans, the rooms boast details like rich woods and textured planters, and the bathrooms are equipped with REN skincare products.

In addition to stays at the Club’s bedrooms, h Club Hollywood members have access to the fitness center and pool, viewings of newly released movies in the screening room, industry-specific events and mixers, a rooftop restaurant and cinema, as well as three levels of lounge dining and drinks, and more.
